The Briar Patch Renaissance and Medieval garb

About The Briar Patch

I have been sewing since I was little, having helped my mother, who was an apprentice seamtress in Europe.

Participating in the S.C.A., RenFaires, or Amtgard is hard on clothing. I found the few merchants whose clothing could withstand the abuse were usually very expensive. I knew I could make durable period clothing at prices people could afford.

I started The Briar Patch in May of 2003 to do just that.

I believe in sewing durable, quality clothing, not "costumes", that people can afford, look great in and be comfortable in. I appreciate you coming to my site and hope that I can make you garb that you'll be proudly wearing for a long time to come.

Thank you,
Lady Kasinda

While most people were stressing about Tax Day, The Briar Patch was in a MOVIE. About a year ago, Joe Grisaffi cotacted us. Joe Grisaffi has been making a movie called "Dead Of Knight" and one scene is set in a RenFaire. Joe was looking for merchants to set the scene and he had heard of us. It was a lot of fun (I never realized how much walking a crowd scene required :)) and we look forward to seeing The Briar Patch actually in a movie
